Talking of quotes
I often highlight text by selecting as I read, this causes an annoying 'quote' popup button.
If no one is using it can it be disabled?

Yep - good solution for the nested multi-quote annoyance.

This is part of the new editor development. It can now be used to scroll the page that you are on, and pick quotes.
I didn't know this had hit yet, you need freaks like this sometimes, to discover new features:

I have written to those who have applied for membership credentials, but not logged in to the new board yet.
When those outstanding memberships are resolved I will archive the old board, and move this to the address of the old board.

As one of those luddites, I've apparently figured enough of it out to post this. Now, how do I sign on from my phone? If I try, it asks me for a one-time password.

You set up an authenticator to get it for logging in on the computer. you use exactly the same authenticator, as already set up, to provide the code to log in on your phone.

We are quite close to everyone who has expressed an interest in accessing TalkBack being able to log in to this new site. Not everyone wishes to do so, which is a sadness, but there you go.
Those with outstanding issues can be counted on one hand.
Hopefully those will be resolved shortly, and I can shut down the old site.
TalkBack will then be 0 in may.
If anyone has outstanding issues, feel free to ask for support.
