    Applications Services

    Part of the point of this new platform, it to provide access to tools and services that may be of use to the community. This is a list of services, that are available - either by default, or on request.

    Default services

    These are services available by default, and not requiring a login.

    • Talkback (new): is available read only by default. Note that currently it's called 'talkcab' to differentiate it from the existing board.

    • Whoami: Is a services that indicates the logged in status in the current browser, and what information is used/passed to applications

    Integrated services

    These are services available on request, and log on is through ticket/turnstile.

    • Talkback (new): is available to read and write. Note that currently it's called 'talkcab' to differentiate it from the existing board.

    • HedgeDoc: a collaborative writing service. Write in a superset of markdown. Set editing/viewing permissions. Authorised users can collaborate in real-time (i.e. can edit the same document simultaneously). Simple publish to the internet.

    • Gitea: a web based git repository platform. Use git, with it's coding collaboration tools, in both public and private repositories.

    Request services

    These are services available on request. Eligibility is established through ticket/turnstile, but login is handled in-application.

    • Vaultwarden: a Bitwarden compatible password manager. Securely store passwords, autofill on mobile and desktop browsers. Also generate OTP passwords, as an alternative to an authenticator. Secure password sharing through Organisations.

    • Nocodb: a no code platform to use a database with the convenience of a spreadsheet. An airtable alternative. Group collaboration for projects.

    The services provided have been selected with a specific objective in mind. That is that services provide a collaborative environment (collaboration can be limited to just you, for personal use).
