I thought it was a bit under but I could be wrong.

Summerville and Fernandes for £160m is bloody good business for a EFL club tbh. Hard to command really crazy fees from a team that's been relegated.
Looks like Ousmane Diomande is happening,
Percy reckons it's in the region of £32M, which Sporting fans think is a steal. Rumour earlier was that it was €50M for Sporting to answer the phone.
Good work from our bond villain then...
Abbott (and Bindon, if he's still considered an option) will get some good loan time if we sign Diomande. Cunha and Morato being the cover, presumably.
I'm ok with that, although we'll need a token Academy character or two in the squad to maintain the "record."
Apparently Glasner wanted Diomande previously but Parrish couldn't get the deal done.
Didn't check his emails?
He is an absolute unit...
I may have been spoiled by Murillo, but they seem to be terribly impressed by a range of very ordinary passing. But yes, unit. And mobile.
Garnacho isn’t a 10 like Rogers or Gibbs-White though. Or has he been played out of position at Man U and Chelsea??
We have a lot of wide players for a system that plays wing backs. CHO, Ndoye, Hutchinson, Bakwa. Are these going to be expected to adapt to play wing back or more centrally? Playing wing backs, they'll be competing with or back up to the obvious two. Playing centrally, I had MGW and Jesus down as the two (assuming we sign another centre forward/Kali/Wood/Taiwo), gives us a lot of expensive options, with McAtee as well. Or are we going to see them moved on?
No idea what he's going to do, but I agree the players we have do not suit the formation and style that Glassner employed at Palace.
Sarr was a winger before he went to Palace - that kind of forward runner is useful in this formation. If our current squad was unchanged then CHO, Ndoye, Hutchinson, Bakwa and McAtee are competing to play as the other 10 with MGW. Bakwa and Ndoye are possibilities at wing back if we are chasing a game or playing lower league opposition in a cup.
I have Jesus, Wood, Kalimuendo and Taiwo competing for the central striker but I can't see Kalimuendo sticking around because he's not really suited to the role.
I'm not sure any of them are if we're looking for a Mateta / Larsen type of player.
I can see Jesus and Kalimuendo better in the ten. But then you're adding them into that pot along with about 5 others!
This is what happens when you lurch from manager to manager and don't have long term stability.
I don't see why we'd change the model we have operated under Marinakis since he arrived of buying players who our football department think will improve the squad, improve in the squad, and ultimately return a profit, regardless of the manager's preferences or predilections. The manager clearly has input that is listened to when it fits with that strategy e.g. Cooper with MGW and Neco, and by the sounds of it Glasner with Diomande, but we don't buy for managers q.v. Nuno and Traore, and we aren’t going to start dumping and buying players en masse to suit the new manager's style. Glasner will have to make the squad he's given work, or he'll be fucked off for one who will.
