Can’t see it. He’s one of only four experienced central defenders - they aren’t going to rely on just Cunha, Boly and Abbott as backups.

When he returns from injury - Bakwa's back ALRIGHT!
It’s just a publicity stunt.
(I loved this song as a kid and as an adult I’ve wondered whether this line was Spike et al getting away with a rude joke)
You forgot Boly and the Italian who is a centre back and Right back. I think Morato is gone.
Chicago: On the Right side of history
It does say Boly in the post?
And Savona is there as well. Chicago is just a loon.
Richards has gone to Rio Ave on loan.
Just waiting for Jota Silva has gone to Rio Ave on loan.
Missed all the fun as I was on the golf course. Love the Zinchenko signing, he was terrific at Arsenal for a while.
Apparently Glasner was so mad that Palace failed to close the signing of two centre-halves he said he would walk if they didn't cancel the Guehi sale. So now you've got a player who's pissed off at not getting his dream move, the club pissed off that he will now presumably walk on a free and they won't get their 35M, and the manager pissed off because they didn't get him the players he was expecting.
I wonder at what point will Palace wonder whether in fact their problems are less to do with Marinakis's Machiavellian manoeuvres (I'm especially pleased with that phrase), and start asking whether perhaps their own leadership team aren't especially good at their jobs.
Ticking Liverpool off in the process.
That's a win-win proposition.
Reports from Portugal that Sporting submitted paperwork to FIFA in time for Silva's transfer, but not to the Portuguese authorities. I don't know if this means it's off or if there's a review/appeal type process, but I feel bad for the poor guy. He's played his heart out for us every minute he's been on the pitch.
If Nuno * is * gone before the end of the international break (and I'm oddly not quite as against the notion as I would have been a few weeks ago) I'd laugh my nuts off if Glasner came here.
Cry Baby FC fanbase would probably implode with outrage at us.

Now there are some very signings there and the squad stronger than last season. I was concerned about the speed of signings earlier in the window (and we’ve since found out so was Nuno) but he’s got a seriously good squad to work with now.
Yes it will take a bit of time to get them how he wants but he does need to get on with things now, or sadly just go.
Likes a nutmeg, the lad...
As far as I can tell, with the Jota sale not done and no public attempts to move Taiwo on, we now have 28 in our 25 man league squad. So unless they can be shifted to Greece, Taiwo, Jota and someone else (not obvious to me who) are going to be bomb squadded - assume that'll be announced shortly. And then another three (Gunn, Dominguez, ???) from the Europa league squad, which is submitted today.
