Internet reports are not glowing. I have seen him described as "a bombscare" and "a better kicker than Matt Turner, but a worse goalkeeper".

Averaged 35 games a season the last three years, but not going to add much to our attacking threat. Last assist was in 20/21 whilst playing for Stoke.

Seems to be Scottish first choice, which makes a change from our regular Welsh international reserve keeper.

You’re looking at webmong fan reports of keepers who are available on a free transfer & expecting them to be glowing?

Either we trust our recruitment team (though their record on keepers is… patchy) or we don’t. Current international (sure, so were Turner, Pascolo, Muric & Vlachodimos), other clubs have seen enough in him to shell out decent money in the past, he’s not old, his fitness record is fine…

I imagine the list of keepers who are happy to come in as No.2, probably won’t play very much if at all, meet the criteria for homegrown, & are free… pretty short.

Let’s hope we never need to find out except in an occasional League Cup match vs League 1 oppo or below!
