I mean the chap from Atletico who was set to join us, Javi Galan.

Cuiabano confirmed post-deadline. Not cuiabana, unless he is also a Brazilian sausage.
Ornstein says we're working on a loan for Zinchenko.
Left back frenzy
Ornstein says we're working on a loan for Zinchenko.
Seems pragmatic again. I have the feeling we're not going for the Brighton/Brentford model so much as Chelsea-lite, where we stockpile players who are likely to increase in value, especially if the chairman/transfer jefe leverage their personal networks to get good prices.
Think he adds depth and 1st team competition at LB and CM, and you could argue we need both. He and Jesus were credited with helping transform Arsenal into title contenders when they signed. I like it.
SSN saying Zinchenko and Bakwa done, deal sheets in, just waiting official confirmation...
How many more players do we need?.
Sels; Aina, Williams, Murillo, Milenkovic; Sangare, Anderson; Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.
Gunn; Savona, Cuiabano, Morato, Cunha; Douglas Luiz, Dominguez; Bakwa, McAtee, Hutchinson; Jesus.
PLUS John Victor, Zinchenko, Boly, Yates, Kalimuendo
Do any of them count as U21 for EPL squad purposes?
And still to move on Richards, Jota Silva, Awoniyi and a possible loan for Abbott

Just Cunha (and Abbott)
So Richards, Silva and Awoniyi plus one other miss out in EPL squad. Guessing they play League Cup and Europe instead, if they're here.

Greek transfer window doesn't shut until September 12... (Portugal's is midnight tonight, so still time for Jota Silva).
Bakwa confirmed
Jota is off to Sporting. Think we are getting a profit on him. I am thinking Morato is off somewhere.
Zinchenko came out of nowhere. Like that move even if he cannot really defend. Certainly can pass.
I am guessing cuibaiano or however you spell his name is sodding off to Oly. But I could be wrong.
Bakwa is a real talent. I am guessing with the Italian we might see a few 3-5-2 formations this season. Zinchenko, Bakwa, and cubianio Brazilian face have played those positions before and are good attacking.
Of course Nuno might get the chop but what do I know.
Chicago: Looking to the future.
Bakwa confirmed
Con: That's going to be hard to get into a song.
Pro: Sounds like the funk equivalent of a reggae backbeat.
We're walking Bakwa-rds by Christmas?
Apologies to Goons fans.
I am thinking Morato is off somewhere.
Can’t see it. He’s one of only four experienced central defenders - they aren’t going to rely on just Cunha, Boly and Abbott as backups.
