We sold a £50m player this summer. I assume we'll do at least that next summer. Until you fuck up recruitment or get shitloads of injuries and get relegated, it'll be fine.

Yes. To be fair to Hutchinson, if the move's been in the pipeline for a few weeks and he wants to go and take the pay rise, he's not going to want to risk injury.

Need to see how they do in red but, on the face of it, Ndoye/Hutchinson/McAtee is a massive upgrade on Elanga/Jota/Sosa.

Actually I loved Elanga. Sold hin for way too little money regardless of his Geordie debit. And liked Sosa. Jota isn’t my favourite but he contributed a fair amount.
Not a fan of Hutchinson yet. Him and McAtee being skilled players need to get stronger because we are not a possession based team. I also feel the same about Rico Lewis too even though he is a full international he is small and doesn’t defend well.
Danny Boy. Haven’t seen him play. Does have a good pedigree.
Chicago: Playing wait and see.

Sosa was a bigger boy than you think and he was pretty physical actually. Little bit brushed off the ball to start with. Improved a fair amount in the aggression stakes. I watched him play when he was on the field. Much better than you give him credit for. Regardless Nuno didn’t like him. Not sure why but probably a training thing.
