Every chance the moment to leave passes this summer, as well. If West Ham can keep hold of Bowen through his prime years, no reason we can't do the same with Morgan.
Question is: does he have a higher release clause like Cunha and Olise? I would guess that he does..
Anyway, this is fun. Shall we just trigger Eze’s 60 clause now just to piss off their fans who are already mental at us for something their own club did?
Anyway, hopefully CHO next…
Next some new blood. Still think we are in for some wingers. Hopefully N’Doye only because he looks sexy on the you tube…
Chicago: Still going for three new imminents.
Haha Spurs cunts!
I can't help but feel sorry for MGW. I've got a mental picture of a bunch of burly scowling blokes looking on while our glorious overlord hands him a pen.
Can we see the full kit release video now?
Sincerely surprised and delighted, although it makes more sense when you understand that he's been thinking about Tottenham a lot.
Anyone told Daniel Levy how much Morgan’s new release clause is yet? Winky thing.
And Tricky says TB isn't funny anymore. Better comedy than The Apollo.
Meeting a player's release clause and not ending up signing him?
Spursy.
I appreciate the paint by numbers approach to the joke here, but feel obliged to point out. It's nothing unusual to meet a valuation/release clause for a player, and not to sign them. You might not reach agreement with the player, you might not actually want them to come - it being a smokescreen operation, the player might be using you for other contract purposes, a big bloke might send the boys round to explain why you really don't want to do that. There can be all sorts of reasons for things not coming to fruition around the 'personal terms' broad church...and it bites every club at times.
I know, I know. Autism.
Killing a joke?
Tricksy.
With three weeks to go it feels like the "big 6" have all strengthened (not necessarily enough in the case of United) and the mid tier have all been poached. It's really hard to see where we fit at the moment as it feels like we have a lot to do, but so do all the other clubs like us. Having only lost Elanga from the main group and for a good fee, added Jesus and now had the MGW boost, it feels like we could be in a relatively good place still.

Except Spurs.
I've just set myself a thought experiment. If you are spursy, and you thought that you were getting MGW, but what you are left with is James Maddison. How do you feel?
I'd feel a bit crushed, but who knows what that bunch of idiots think?

Agreed. Plus Nuno, Aina, Williams & now MGW have signed new contracts - if we can add CHO to that list I’d say that represents good work on the “retaining the core of your existing team” front.
Now we just need to add some more depth to complement Igor Jesus (which my autocorrect seems to want to change to Ivor Jesus - who sounds more Welsh Baptist pastor than Brazilian forward). Based on previous transfer windows under Marinakis, I remain confident that we will do exactly that.
[Can’t say I’ve been tracking other clubs’ signings too closely, but particularly Man Utd & Spuds. United have signed Cunha (not our one) & Mbeumo… any defenders, or at this point are they still relying on last season’s shower at the back?
And have Spuds signed anyone of significance to back up their fans’ crowing on Yer Socials?]
