I think fans are perfectly ok to be pissed off that after our best season for many many years we have sold our better two players, for what many regard under the going rate. And all we have signed is an unknown from Brazil.

And four years ago we pretty much were.

We got promoted with Brennan as pretty much our only big money asset, and that was 90% potential. We've churned through a squad and a half of players to get to a team where we don't want anyone to leave.
We're fast-tracking the Brighton model and it's going to hurt. They've played in the Europa League once, two years ago. We're there now.

Can you explain this bit. Not sure what CHO would go for but the profit on him is potentially more than on MGW at 60m I' think

Worth bearing in mind that when Clownes bought Derby, the price, including Pride Park, was 1 Elanga.

Don't see how that kind of attitude contributes to a good, old fashioned Internet meltdown.

    Rob Dorsett of Sky:

EXCL:I’m told #nffc consider deal to take Gibbs-White to #thfc is currently OFF - Forest consulting their lawyers over what they believe is an illegal approach. They never gave permission for talks and have cut all comms with Spurs. Unlikely they can block it, but def delayed.

What's the point in that? Just slows the process down and, at best, leaves us with an unhappy player.

Presumably to piss them off, anyone else can now approach him for the £60m and the cockney twats don't win by default. Or they give us £5m more

Doesn't seem like the actions of a club who knew he was leaving and have a plan B.

Presumably everything was going smoothly, out of our control, and we hadn't had an opportunity to demonstrate our pant wetting man baby credentials. Some skilful manoeuvring here, to allow for an incoming statementz (no doubt).

Sue Spuds for MILLIONS so they can no longer afford MGW?
    Genius.

As stated by others, I don't think we saw this happening, but I am sure we have potential replacements scouted fir every position

It’s definitely beginning to look like MGW blindsided the club in which case, he has to go. Whist he’s been our best player since SVC, he’s been a bit of a cunt about this. As a result, if we can make it a bit difficult, I don't have a problem with that.
