Ooh, hello. I don't remember authorising mystic Meg for an account. In sport you don't get even outcomes, and you actually play the games because of the uncertainty.

I'd rather be in our position, if not with our squad. The later is why we are still over performing. This is a positive. Not a negative.

P.S. They definitely want to. Sometimes stuff is hard.

Of course I’d rather be in our position. And agree this is probably the weakest squad in the top 7. At the business end of the season this puts us at quite a disadvantage. Hey ho….

He went? Jobs fucked then. I thought he was just in the Strat, where I assumed he'd they'd renewed his residency.

That's as bad as I've seen us for some time. Awful game. We were as flat as anything, and we got bullied.

It felt like a turning point. Hope I'm wrong.

When we play poorly, it's generally because our midfield gets outfought and outworked. Newcastle always do it to us. Garner was the best player on the pitch today.

He was definitely very good excellent as a pivot. Everton had a game plan, and it worked. Largely because we didn't do the things that we've been so good at.

    UTTER UTTER SHIT!

We played their game not ours. Horrible booting in the air. No passing to feet. Incoherent play. We looked lost.

Out thought by Moyes. Really poor by us. Moreno was horrendous.

I cannot understand why we just chucked it up there. They are fighters not footballers and they completely outfought us. Our easiest victory of the season at Goodison their easiest victory of the season at the City Ground.

Really horrible to watch. Like a bad Championship game. And the Murillo cock up at the end said it all really... Even though you could see that there would be only one winner and it wasn't going to be us..

    Chicago: Disconsolate.

You fucked it last week. The Magic is gone.

Anyway. Hopefully Everton fuck up other teams battling for points in the run in. Also my sciatica is back so I am in an horrendous mood.

    Chicago: Grumpy.

Where do we stand on getting into Champions League v Europa v Conference v nothing and keeping players such as Murillo, MGW, Elanga?

Reminds me bit of the Hart play off year where going up would have let us keep the squad and build but not meant we regressed.

Although guaranteed top 4 after everyone's played 32.

Champions league is still definitely on. Our run in is doable. Horrible day today. All the things that we normally do well, we didn't.

Didn't play on the half turn, didn't drive forward, missed passes, didn't make runs (when the full back takes it down the line to clear, he needs runs down the channel as an outlet, not people offering square with a congested pass across the line of the incoming challenge). Didn't hold the width which meant that to hit the central run was a worldy, rather than a cross field pass to isolate the full back and allow wood to pin the centre halves. Just horrible.

    These things happen in football.

When Nuno made the first change, and we had a spell at 4-4-2 we murdered them. Credit to Moyes for immediately adjusting.

I would feel worried if there was nothing to fix from today. But I'm 100% sure Nuno knows even better than me... And I could fix it and make it better next time out.

    I've had wine.
Forest are 3rd in the league and in the semi-final of the FA Cup and all is well with the world*.

*up to a point, Lord Copper.

That's more or less how I see it too although wouldn't be banking on 5th.
Opta doesn't account for injuries and form so purely on the sight test of recent games of those at the top, I'd say we're in a shoot out for 5th/6th/7th with Chelsea and Villa, any outcome of which means guaranteed European football next season. So all good.
