I get your point, but they may also have looked at the way he wants his squad balanced compared to what they have and decided it's too big a shift, while we decided our wingers were disposable.

No, you've decided that I think that. I have no particular feelings about Glasner. I have misgivings about the way he's setting about managing the squad and the team so far, and I disagree with some of the decisions he has made. When he makes decisions I agree with, I'll also point those out. Like the McAtee experiment for example, which so far I'm quite positive if still slightly nervous about. Or the attempt to sign Dean Henderson. Both of which I have stated clearly.

You just seem to want to have a caricature to rail against, I'm not sure why.

Just reverting back to Hutchinson, the other thing that stats probably don't expose was just how ineffective he was defensively CHO would help his full back (normally Neco) a lot. Aina would get fuck all from Hutchinson.

Glasner (who is known for saying what he thinks) has said in today's presser that he is very happy with transfer window, achieved all he wanted to and a key aim was reducing squad size. He has also described how hands on he has been with each signing and had discussions with all of them before they joined.

Glasner comes across as having a large element of control over all incoming and outgoings, and obsessed with details.
