We need to keep running at mickey van den dutchman as much as possible as he looks nervy up against our speed
HOW DID HE MISS?
Jesus. He's got massive credit in the bank, but that's a horrible miss. Seemed to try to hit it too hard.
So punching someone is ok is it?
He punched him. That is a Red. Thanks VAR.
And bugger…. Wood scoring that second would have been Epic.
Not losing would be optimal. Winning with another Murillo 50 yard shot or Wood Tap in I would be ecstatic. Someone needs to step on Son though he’s a dangerous fcuker.
Chicago: Holding on for a Hero.
Clearly Maddison will score the winner now.
Werner seems like their biggest threat to me
Quite amusing watching pundits argue that it wasn't enough of a punch to merit a red. Really, these fuckers just make it up as they go along to fit their preferred narrative.
Agree. Don't quite understand why we are leaving enough time and space so that even he can pick a pass.
Decent performance so far and an indication of how far we've come in 18 months. We're still miles behind sides like Spurs but are becoming more competitive at the level, which is really all we can ask.
Last season we'd have been three-down at half-time. Still expect us to lose but we've done much better here than I feared after the first 15 minutes.
Forcing them to change their midfield at half time seems like a positive.
I’ve seen the clip on twitter from foreign coverage. The commentators couldn’t understand why Maddison wasn’t sent off and bemused at the VAR official saying to the ref there was no evidence of violent conduct.
The wankers on sky can only say Yates should have had a second yellow for asking for VAR.
It’s so bent they don’t even try to hide it anymore.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a goalkeeper.
Wood's blushes saved by the flag.
Is Steven Reid back from suspension yet? Can we send him out at full time in full on cunt mode?
Keane was suggesting there wasn't a great deal in it, but surely a punch is a punch? Once you've deemed it one, isn't it a red card whether he lightly caught him or smacked him into next week?
