Is it just me or was Ramsdale pretty poor for the first goal (decently struck and placed but not smashed and from a fair distance) and the third (a header from a way out, again decently placed but he seemed slow to go down and got a hand to it) as well as catastrophic for the fourth?

The Wood header was the one goal (that counted) where I thought he was most shit. He could have almost walked over and grabbed it, it was that slow. But he dived and missed it. Give me Sels any day of the week.

The Anderson one was just a good shot. I think that scores against most keepers.

I've just seen the video for the elbow on MGW. How that isn't a red card I have no idea. How VAR can send Taylor to the screen to look at the 'goal' but not send him to the screen to look at that (even if he doesn't end up giving a red). He has to go to the screen.

That's why no one supports VAR, illustrated neatly in one game.

I’ve read somewhere that VAR can’t intervene in a case like that. They could if no card was issued, allegedly, but not when a yellow has been shown. No idea if that’s all correct though.

I think they can suggest it's upgraded to a red. I've seen it a few times this season.

What they can't do is intervene and suggest a yellow is issued when the ref has done nothing.

The VAR also checks for possible red-card incidents for which the on-field referee has awarded a yellow card or no card at all.

Who was on VAR? He is the useless cunt who told the other useless cunt to be totally useless. At Least Michael Oliver has over ruled VAR a few times whilst at the monitor. That useless Bald cunt intervened in the Brighton match and got MGW sent off. Then didn't bother when Morgan was elbowed in the face. Or when he was first chopped down. I would say that after words were exchanged in that first game the baldy cunt has a strop on for our midfield hero.

Either way, inept or corrupt. Could be both.... I still feel like we lost that game yesterday even though we picked up the 3 points. i think I might be turning into a Charlton fan or even worse a scouser..... How does it feel Shady? Does it feel dirty you turnstile jumping gobshite...

I see that Tricky banned JP's pseudonym... Haven't seen him on here for a while. I think Dead Legs Harry Kane was the last straw...

Anyway, a very tricky Muff diving experience next match...

    Yeah.

If I am being generous ... I can see why VAR didn't intervene. It's marginal between red and yellow IMO. I'd have like to have seen a a red, and nobody would have moaned, but given the ref has issued a yellow I can see why they didn't want to get involved.

Of course this wish to not get involved in marginal calls either way, is then thrown out of the window with our disallowed goal.

    VAR is shit.

Exactly, if VAR isn't for having a second look at the elbow, but is for having a second look at the goal incident then it is totally fucked.

It's not even like the rules prevent it (like eg with the Boly second yellow), it's just utter shit and it will never be accepted until they sort that kind of shit out.

In football, going forward, some things will be refereed. Some things won't. Some things will be re-refereed. Ultimately the major brands will float to the surface, and the supporting cast will get bent out of shape by continual shit decisions when there is absolutely no reason for that to happen.

That's just how its going to be.

It's extraordinary. What the merry fuck are the ref, the officials, VAR and their train missing ways, playing at?

And now you know why this was so infuriating. Glad you have come around to actually watching the match before commenting.

    Oh!

    Chicago: Still annoyed as fuck.
