Not entirely inexplicable as I just got tickets to see them, which pleases me greatly as they are one of the few remaining bands I haven’t seen live that I feel I really should see live.
I believe - Cher
(Thanks to KarlMark)
Could be worse. You could have the new Streets track stuck in your head.
Cher was particularly disliked by Dubya as I recall. I remember calling him onetime when I was driving just to make him hear I Believe on the radio in the background.
I’m in the Dubya camp too.
My kill list is anything by Cher, plus - and this is in my top one - Constant Craving by KD Lang (aaarrgghh)
I feel this way about Radiohead.
I mean, there are sobgs, artists, even whole genres / sub-genres you may personally dislike generally, but you can still acknowledge some degree technical and / or artistic merit, if it's so warranted.
That fucking horseshit though? I can't even listen long enough to try to figure out if it's just me being irrational. Nor do I care enough to try. Just awful bilge.
The number of the beast by Iron Maiden.
Still a classic.
Chicago: Getting into the spirit.
668, Neighbour of the Beast.
My work mobile number has "666" in it. When giving it in a work context I will often quote the number, and then say "the number of the beast". Just to see where I am with the recipient.
Often not in a great place.
I believe, theologically speaking, that 666 is not the number of the beast...but I forget what it actually is.
My membership number for my fishing club is 667. Glad I didn't join a bit sooner.
I wonder is "Whitehall 666" the number of the prince of darkness, the bringer of all evil...or has Boris Johnson lost that phone and unfortunately can't give it's whatsapp messages to the enquiry?
Wasn't it 616 according to some
