Snooker loopy

They had Kyren Wilson (I think) as co-commentator for a match yesterday. First time I'd heard him. Apart from talking too much (radio commentary filling the silences, rather than allowing TV pictures to do that, but understandable for a beginner), I thought he was really good and insightful. He actually enhanced my viewing, rather than just telling me what I could already see like almost all sports pundits these days.

Tis a stupid quiff. At least they only had him pointing out the dressing rooms today. Taylor and Doherty commentating.
It's a long shot for Jones now. Would like to see Wilson win as I've always liked him. I don't think he'll ever have a better chance, especially taking the final frame last night.

As for Jones, I don't think he's missed a single long pot into that bottom right pocket. It's a shame that he misses so many easy balls.

And another superb long red to the bottom right for Jones. Don't leave him anything in that corner.

A fine yellow with swerve to the bottom right to take the frame. One more frame to ensure that the match goes to the final session. The only match I can recall that didn't was Hendry v White about thirty years ago.

Wilson looks to be feeling the pressure now, losing position and failing to score heavily when at the table. He's in first in the 24th frame and really needs to take it in one visit, otherwise you feel Jones will have the upper hand despite being behind.

What decade are we in? Having two fit birds to open the doors to let the players in. Really? Barry bloody Hearn.
