People who consume the following products after they have gone cold have something wrong with them:

    • Pizza
    • Coffee
    • Chips

I'll give you coffee and chips but Pizza were going to disagree on, with the caveat that it can only be eaten the morning after a night out, see Buffalo as an example.

It takes ten minutes in the oven to return it to its proper state. I will even accept microwaving it if you're desperate, over eating it cold.

Pizza often. Coffee every day. Cold chips is just weird.

Some chips actually heat up well. Twice cooked chips can be great. Pizza is fine cold or reheated.

Coffee, once cold, is only fit for use as a flavouring (baking, ice cream, etc.)

I tend to agree with the majority here for the most part; Cold chips are a no no. I only drink espresso which goes cold quickly and can't be wasted so sometimes needs must. Cold pizza though, especially for breakfast.. food of the gods and just as enjoyable as hot the night before.

Coffee? People are fine with iced mocha. Cold chips love em . Cold pizza no way Jose, or should that be Giuseppe?

Is there a cold pizza ex student correlation?

Hardly ever remember having pizza as a student. Pizza wasn't anything like as popular (or available) back in those days.

I suspect it's more that a recent takeaway convenience food revolution has made leftover pizza (and obesity) more ubiquitous.

I like cold pizza, I am obese.

Do you mean left out and gone back to later cold pizza (OK), or from the fridge the next morning pizza (NOK)?

Coffee I agree with, but tea is fine. Not milky British stuff, but the black, fragrant type.

And cold lasagne the following morning is nectar, esp. if there are hangovers about. See also cold cheese soufflé

Ignoring the “overheard in Waitrose” element of this, how do you…errrr…keep it up all night, so to speak?

The Douchers who own this place hired a Catamaran and expect us to go on it on the holiday weekend. Considering I see them every day and can't stand them why in God's name would I ever share a boat with them around the holidays?

    No, no and no.

Socialising with people at work when you spend all your time trying to avoid them? Fuck that. That is a hill I can die on..

I've also recently discovered cold curry. Espcially Tarka Dhal.

As a kid I used to swim at lunchtimes, so when I did I would take a pie for lunch, on the walk back to school. The memory of the taste of that, is probably second only to that of a pint and a chip butty after a game of football.

...but pies are designed to be cold, so don't count.
