People who use the expression "rise and grind" forfeit the right to have any further opinion or utterance taken seriously. It's 7am and I'm at the gym, fucking leave me alone. I don't need your cod motivational bollocks.

Never heard the phrase used. But it sounds well dodgy.

I've heard it used in the context of both work and the gym.

At my gym is mostly broken equipment. There isn't really much bumming.

My gym is excellent; it's reasonably priced, massive, has an absolute ton of top notch equipment, and is never busy at the times I go. I will miss it when I move.
