Superglue is useful for exactly one thing, which is sticking broken things to your fingers. It is is completely useless for actually mending the broken things.

I thought that it was specially formulated for sticking the unsuspecting to toilet seats?

I use it for attaching tips to snooker cues.

Anyone who refers to a big lead in goal difference as "effectively an extra point" actually means an extra half point.

If Team A goes into the last game two points ahead of Luton but with a 100 better goal difference, that isn't worth an extra point because if Luton win and Team A loses, Luton stay up. It's the difference if they finish level, i.e. an extra half point (other fractions are acceptable, depending on preference).

Also, after Stoke/Swansea no-one should refer to Nottingham Forest's existing goal difference difference as any kind of advantage until they have stopped conceding goals for the season. 10 or 14 goal advantage with 4 games each left is well within the realms of possibility. I'll concede the 29 goal advantage over Sheffield United is fairly unlikely to be overturned.

Indeed. We could easily ship 6+ against City.

People who start emails with "Greetings" are automatically off to a bad start with me. I assume that they wear fedoras ironically and play Dungeons & Dragons.

If you move a Noon meeting forwards two hours that meeting is now at 10am, not 2pm.

And bi monthly is every other month, not twice a month.

(I know both answers to both are technically accurate, one set more USA and one more British, but they're hills I'm prepared to die on, especially the 10am one)

No, I make you exactly correct regardless of which side of the Atlantic.

    Motion seconded.

Also on the whole email thing... 'Kind regards'.

What you're essentially saying, is 'Here are my regards. I am kind'.

Which makes you sound a bit of a self aggrandising prick, really.
