They are all subjective decisions that aren’t objectively wrong, whatever we (or most observers) think about them, there’s no way that suing isn’t going to get us anywhere.

I hate this shit, it’s ridiculous.

    No, it's hilarious.

The club's fucking dead from the core so may as well have a laugh at the madness.

In more hilarity, a bloke on the way in today had half a subway sandwich nicked from his jacket pocket by the drug sniffer dog.

Giving none of the penalties today does smack of petulant spite.
But the club mentioning a Luton fan is horribly embarrassing. Just find a politic way of saying that the refs are as incompetent as our set-piece coach, or as ignorant of rules as our senior management, or as absent of insight as our recruitment team.

I just hope the owner found a nice bush to throw his accreditation into.

You are mistaking satire for geo-location.

When Reyna went missing for long periods I was wondering about his Gio location.
    Boom boom.

For the third clear penalty we were told Taylor hadn’t given it as the Young had got the ball.

The video clearly shows he didn’t get the ball.

Hours later I’m still at a total loss as to why VAR didn’t intervene as they could see Taylor had clearly and obviously got it wrong.

Not sorry about it but Clattenberg will surely leave shortly. He can’t stick around at a club that’s accusing referees of cheating,

If a ref gets those wrong, I can accept it. They are all shit, and it was always thus.

Give them a support team in a video booth, with access to every angle, and a range of microscopes and protractors, and they still get it wrong, and personally I want to know how and why. Then I want something doing about it. And I'm not paying shit until they do.

But as you know this has been my position for some time.

    This.

And there are plenty of pundits, Carragher included, who bemoan VAR and come out with the standard “I don’t know what offside/handball/a penalty is anymore” phrases. Everyone agrees it’s a shitshow and that something has to change without giving any concrete ideas. But when a club tries to do something about it (hiring Clattenburg, issuing bullish statements) everyone is bemused, outraged or embarrassed.

The PGMOL clearly cannot sort their shit out and it’s definitely ruining the game, so if it’s my club that’s throwing the first grenades, I don’t actually have a problem with it. Rather than sitting passively by, it’s better to protest or disrupt.

Gary Neville is only concerned about Sky’s ‘product’ so he’s not exactly a relevant voice in this debate.
