Really poor. There was a Garibaldi Red podcast from very early season when Darren Fletcher was scoffing at any relegation fears and saying Forest would 'comfortably' be mid-table this season. I recall thinking that I wasn't quite sure what he was basing that on.

I think we can all see now just how important Taiwo is to this team. The prospect of Wood playing for the next few weeks is a concern, especially as they're currently not playing in a way to get the best out of what he offers, which is, even then, limited.

This is a bit worrying. Dangerous to be relying on three teams being massively more shit than us.

I won't be cheering his exit. All that's really changed from last year is the bottom 3 are shitter and looking set. The top 8 are still untouchable. The next 8 are all still vastly more experienced at this level than us. I can't help but think EM wants Cooper gone because he sick of not getting the same amount of love and will be sensing his opportunity to strike now the shortermers have got their tails up.

    des and RC like this.

Neither will I but I don’t think he will improve the set up in time. Marinakis will want Cooper gone because he’s not getting a return on his investment. Take the “he’s a nice guy sentimentality” out of it and think like an investor.

Also if your “shortermer” comment is aimed at me, then think again….

Bit disappointed in the Greek keeper since he's come into the team. He doesn't make any big mistakes .... But that's mainly because he doesn't really do anything. For example he's terribly poor at coming and claiming balls in the area.

Can’t disagree. No real command of the area after that initial flap at a corner.

But that’s not the reason we lost and are not playing well.

    Some thoughts.

    Worst performance under Cooper.

Can someone explain to me again how a team would have to play to see the best of Chris Wood. Cos I'm thinking it'd be a different sport.

MGW on the wing is wasted.

Who felt going into the season with no back up centre forward was sensible, given Taiwo spent a good chunk of last season injured and only does c65 minutes when 'fit'?

Everton poor too, but much more energetic, organised than us.

I agree ... But I think we all thought that Origi would offer more than he has.

This is my view as well.
I don't know how to fix the Wood situation but maybe having MGW central would help.

Yep. Really messed up the start of the game. The display was a mess because of it too.

How do you move MGW central while playing three attackers though? You have to play a "false nine" with CHO and Elanga wide. Then who do we play the long clearance balls too (which I don't want us to play, but we frequently do, as we aren't good enough to play out from the back).

Random thought - Felipe was lucky not to be sent off.

I managed to get a ticket tonight (and kinda wished I hadn’t). Was a shit shit performance. They even messed up Mull of Kintyre.

Apart from Murillo, the whole team looked slow and toothless. Sangare was a disappointment.

We lacked aggression in our play. Sometimes a match requires a bit of old school scrapping, and we didn’t have any of that.

    So disappointed with that performance

How bad must Origi be in training for Wood to stay on the pitch for so long?

That was a Chris Hughton like performance.
Very poor. Thought we really missed Aina today,. Sangare was fucking terrible.

First time I can remember thinking Cooper watched a different game to me with his post match comments.

Though he did end saying there weren't many positives, so guess his comments may have been an attempt at self preservation.
