I don't think anyone is saying that. Our written history is littered with seemingly minor interactions proving to be the stimulus for events of global significance.
I can think of a small thing that someone said to me once, that went on to affect me substantially for the rest of my life. I bet you can. So we don't want to risk that? Literally every second can be used more profitably? It's okay for the likes of tricky to wander over to a kids game out of interest.... but we need our manager to keep a distance because the kids might not conform to our expectations of their mental makeup at this age, and we need to make sure that they are autonomous productive units right from being small children? Keep away from imperfectly formed footballers, spend the time more productively on the phone to the superagent. Kapow!
I just can't reconcile your thinking. The columns do not add up.
We arent, most likely, going to be developing any significant talent while Nuno is our coach. And not because of anything he does or doesn't do. I totally do not in any way hold that against him.
I do find it a bit odd that a head coach has no interest in football that goes on under their roof. That's unusual in my experience.
