Feel ever so slightly for the young lad Hutchinson and the flak he's gonna get... but not really, not really much at all. Tonight was largely of our own making. And the players now even more duffed in for the Arse match.

I didn't see the first half but I didn't understand the logic behind McAtee on the wing and Hutchinson in the middle, if that's what happened.

Morato and Cunha are an absolute bombscare together. I know all the talk is about a striker but we really need another good centre-half as well.

We've been discussing whether Morato is worse than Figueredo.

He was certainly the worst player out there.

But McAtee gave him a run. He needs to go out on loan or something to try and learn how to be a footballer.

Mcatee was in the middle. Rarely involved and when he got the ball he tended to go backwards. Offered absolutely nothing.

Abbot must be miffed he couldn’t get a game.

It's a nice idea, but of course the narrative will be that they have 'the momentum' with them. Just as we were supposed to have following Tuesday.
It's almost as if cliches are utterly fucking worthless*. Fancy that.

*much like some of our expensive summer recruits, regardless of managerial and coaching changes, because too many of them can't seem to manage basic kicking.

Hasn’t he spent two years on loan at Sheffield United? One in the championship and one in the premier league.

Not sure I've got too much grief for Morato in me. The two central midfielders in front of him first half offered fuck all. Ive moaned about Macatee but Luiz should be dominant in a game like that.

Morato reminds me of the Frisbee / Ultimate / Gay Disc team that Russ, Webmong and I used to play for. Someone came up with 'the rule of 11'. Which meant that whatever you did - be it a 1 out of 10 or a 10 out of 10 - the next thing you did would make it add up to 11. Morato is a little different in that when he hits eleven the next 2 things he does makes 13 in very quick succession.
Not that he's alone in stringing awful mistakes together.
