Were Everton's so called owners (777 something), meant to have paid something towards the 160 million quid dodgy loan taken out for the stadium? I think that a payment was due today was it not?

Or are they just saving money by not paying the players after their dodgy performance against the southern cheating bastards?

As you say, I think it is similar to the first case with Everton contending loans are for the stadium and the premier League "unsure"

From what I've read, at the level it's currently pitched, only Chelsea would have been over last season. Seems like another attempt to be seen to make things fairer without actually changing anything. (Also, it's not clear to me how you would know what the limit was going to be in any given year - you'd think Luton being in the premier league this season brings the figure down - how on earth can any club adapt in real time?)

Because it's pegged to TV earnings, which are determined by the League.

TalkSport appear to have sparked some chatter on the #nffc timeline by announcing they understand Forest are to have two points reinstated on appeal.

The three previous points "adjustments" didn't really leak, they came out in a flurry from Ornstein, Percy etc. I'd be surprised if this has been the first one to leak and/or Talksport have broken an embargo.

That would be huge if it was true. Would put us 3 points plus GD clear of Luton with 3 to play - if we go down from there then we can have no complaints.

Perhaps they mean the 2 points they gave us back for good behaviour have been reinstated to the penalty.

    Agreed. I suspect it's bollocks.

Would also mean that, even if we lost the next two, Burnley would need 2 points from their games against Newcastle and Spurs to retain an interest in the last game.

The only tweet is from a Luton fan having a whinge. I have not seen or heard any comment from TalkSport. .

I've had a quick skim of the 'new' spending rules. I can't see any real sense or point to them, or what they are trying to achieve. At this point it just looks like writing rules, for the sake of employing lawyers.. Anyone got any ideas?
