It seems Chelsea met PSR by selling hotel on site from Football Club company to affiliated company.

You’d think that the rules wouldn’t allow a rich club with inherited non-football assets to dodge the rules like that. Lolz roflcopter etc.

You can't say 'copter' in relation to Chelsea. Or Le***ster.

PSR appeal to be heard w/c 22nd April.

So we'll presumably get the result after man city, with three games left.

So realistically, by the time they've conferred, reached their decision, written a 50 page document to explain it, and socialised it in the corridors of power, we're probably going to find out between the Sheffield United game on the 4th and the Chelsea game on the 11th.

From fbk so pinch of salt required…

EPL have been scrutinising the last 2 sets of accounts of BOURNEMOUTH

It is believed a potential breach of EPL reporting laws regarding their accounts

The EPL have spotted suspicious activity on the accounts and unanswered questions regarding these accounts

The EPL is looking for an immediate relegation which under EPL rules should apply this season

The person that has informed me of this has seen the messages from a well known person connected with the FA

I'd love it, LOVE IT if those pricks were relegated.
But I won't hold my breath.

Sounded vaguely possible until the immediate relegation bit

    1. I don't believe it
    2. Dodging the accounts rules should lead to immediate relegation (as in, at the end of the season, so not immediate immediate). Especially given the impact on other clubs.
    3. Any outcome where Luton and Forest survive while the Undead are still relegated is a very appealing one, so let's save City and Chelsea for another year.

Also random mention of the FA at the end suggests the person who made this up doesn’t understand the bodies involved.

In more concrete news, Everton have appealed their 2 point deduction. And apparently there's also the potential for a further, third deduction resulting from a different issue:

All getting a bit silly now.

I thought 2 points was unusually generous by the league. Hopefully they'll fix that.

We knew this a couple of weeks ago - but it's no use to us annoyingly as "That issue is unlikely to be resolved before the end of the season."

(Which doesn't seem right/fair given the new supposed timescales)

Same reason as Man City. It’s not a straightforward adjudication of punishment, it’s a more complex investigation into whether there is actually an offence.

So who is it proposed does decide that if not the independent commission I wonder?

Isn't it just an interpretation of how interest is treated. Seems like both sides put forward thier case and an independent panel decide. It's a single issue not the 115 varied issues of City.

Were Everton's so called owners (777 something), meant to have paid something towards the 160 million quid dodgy loan taken out for the stadium? I think that a payment was due today was it not?

Or are they just saving money by not paying the players after their dodgy performance against the southern cheating bastards?

Chicago: Keeping an eye on the money..
