I would imagine it has long been arranged that players have a few days off to start the international break, this seems like the perfect time of the season to give players a chance to relax and recharge.

This is a stupid international break as it's mostly friendlies, the only players who are involved in competitive games are Neco Wiliams and Odysseas in the Euro qualifiers and Wood in some weird cup tournament New Zealand are playing in Cairo. A few of the others have friendlies including Murillo who has just been called up by Brazil for the first time, but none of the other South Americans are involved.

Last break MGW went to Dubai and came back injured.

Unless he's been called up since the initial announcement, that's Murilo not Murillo.

You're right, my mistake. So that's another of our boys getting a rest.

    Is Danilo in the squad?

FYP. A lot of injuries are not "this thing is torn and I can't physically move", they're things like strains and tendinitis that you can mask for a while with painkillers and anti inflammatories and run through but only really go away when you rest them properly. I presume that the previous break wasn't quite long enough to do that, but having rested whatever he was carrying for two weeks it makes far more sense to take the extra week to fully recover than go back to playing and return the problem right back to square one.

No. And neither is Danillo (I've no idea if there is a Danillo).

No, AFAIK he hasn't even played U21 for Brazil (for which I think he's still eligible) much less played for the senior team.

I made a prediction a couple of weeks away that I cannot see us winning another game and I stick by it. We are a very poor team and I am not even sure the majority of players even care. I think even Nuno has given up.

In the wake of Saturday's game I thought I'd check how many times we've gained and lost points at the end of a game. So goals after the 80th minute, by my reckoning.

    Gains:
    Sheffield united (home) winner
Man United (home) Gibbs White winner.

    Losses
Luton (home) - two goals to lose two points.
West Ham (away) - late winner
    Bournemouth (home) - late winner
    Liverpool (home)
    Luton (away) - late equaliser

    Late Goal but no impact:
Awoniyi makes it 1-2 against Arsenal home and away.
Fulham get a 5th at home.
Hudson-Odoi gets the second to finish off West Ham

So, I think the conclusion is that we do keep going, it's just the the late goals we've scored haven't been as important as the ones we've conceded. (Although the Arsenal ones could have led to us getting something and the Hudson-Odoi one killed the game, which is some impact)
