To be honest I am surprised we've not tried a back 3 in the last 5-6 games. Now? It's a bit late I guess. Who knows.

My objection is not to a back 3 as such, just that these people say they want a settled side at the same time as changing the formation.
I gather we are discussed on the PoF podcast today. I'm about to listen to it.
Summary: They slated us on the premise that it was ok to talk about on their finance podcast because we'll be getting a big fine.
While I agree that the statement was counter productive and wasn't the way to go about things, this faux moral outrage from all and sundry is getting extremely tedious.
I am still pretty cross to be fair, although some of that is a hangover from the Liverpool game.
I've never been entirely comfortable with an adult who calls themselves anything like "Maradona of the Midlands", but his penalty analysis is quite the worst I've ever heard.
That the Reyna and handball shouts in the previous game were clearly not penalties, claiming that they are never given, is bad enough, but saying Montiel penalty was incorrect is mind-boggling.
Cartledge on Forest Focus tomorrow.
Only watched the first bit but I remain convinced they’ll conclude in the near future that the CG can’t house their ambitions for the club and they have to move. Slightly more optimistic it won’t be Toton.
Comparing our turnover to Man City and implying that has much to do with the ground is remarkably disingenuous though.
I saw a clip last night, he said something about FIFA dictate the orientation of the pitch?
Don’t think he explained it very well but there was something about UEFA (I think) restrictions to do with circulation(?) meaning we couldn’t rotate the pitch.
But of course playing a world cup in Qatar is fine.
Edit: Just realised circulation meant fans around the stadium, not air in the ground.
Interview with a city councillor on the latest Forest Focus. Not sure he added much to the conversation on the ground, as he doesn't seem to be particularly well informed and the idea the club might rebuild the main stand for the next 5 or 6 years to see what happens seems laughable to me. Marinakis might be rich but he isn't going to drop an nine figure sum on a temporary solution.
Yes, an irrelevant conversation with someone with a quite worryingly ill-informed position.
Not worrying. He's a backbench councillor now so won't be getting the same briefings he was previously as portfolio holder. He'll have been approached by Matt Davies because he'd done a couple of media interviews a few weeks ago when he was closer to it. Things move quickly.
The Forest Fever post had a NZ special with a local journo this week. Jason Pine - he's really good, in all honesty. Very straight.
Many years ago I didn't know who he was and was lecturing him about the misery of lower league football (we were in league one at the time) on the way to a Phoenix game. He almost certainly knew more than me, if less specifically.
