I don't think I'm negative either, but because a lot of my opinions don't sit easily with what we are right now people seem to think I don't like the club and am doing it down, at least in the less nuanced corners of the internet, whereas I tend to think I'm trying to build it up.

Is that a Pete McKee behind your head @steve ? His gallery in Sheffield is very near my place. Every single person in the area has 1-2 in their house. Partly due to saturation, and partly I just don't like the style, I've come to really hate him.

Yes I actually have that design on a mug I've taken into work. It's one of his few things I like for obvious reasons.

Listened to the audio version so can’t judge Steve’s home decor, but enjoyed it nevertheless. However, the soundtrack reminds me of cinema intermission music. It’s crying out for a mention of Kia-Ora or a flock wallpaper takeaway just minutes from this auditorium.

I have downloaded it in order to support Wor Steve. I now have seven (7!) Forest podcasts in my library:

Matt Forde was very ill with cancer (was on crutches at that ground recently). McGregor is now doing a new podcast as the Britpop footballer, I think. No idea what Jonny Owen is up to.

Yesterdays edition of Forest Focus pod with Prutts is worth a listen, I don’t listen to every pod they produce but that one was enjoyable.

Prutts is by far my favourite contributor to that pod. TBH they cooked themselves with me by cranking up the volume they produce, as soon as they made me have to start picking which ones I was interested in it broke the habit of just listening to each new one as it comes out, and now I don't listen at all.

I don't think I've ever listened to a Forest podcast.

I'm going to the Podcast Live thing (think it's the Forever Forest one that used to be Garibaldi Red, with Fletcher, McGugan and others) at the Nav next week. Not because I love the idea of podcasts or even live podcasts, but because it's a chance to eat pie and drink beer with one of my lads. Looking forward to it.
