So what's going on with all this?

Seems that the Garibaldi Red 'crew' have all jumped ship and started a new podcast, but Max and Sarah Clapton are now going to be running the Garibaldi Red one.

I guess the Garibaldi Red podcast/brand is 'owned' by a company (who?) which used to employ Matt Davies? Or was he doing it on the side?

Garibaldi Red is owned by Reach (i.e. the NEP). Davies has left Reach, so leaves the podcast and is starting a rival (Forest Focus) and taking all his mates with him. Presumably with a view to monetising it to his benefit.

Clearly Reach have decided it's worth carrying on with and have got Max thingy in to present going forward with Clapton as the journalist.

FWIW, Max thingy is a much better presenter than Davies (he should be, he's been preparing for this since he was about 10) but it's the guests that make it, so I'll be swapping to the new one.

I will listen to both and decide which is more deserving of my listening. I think I only have room for one Forest podcast in my life.

I have room for more. Providing they are entertaining, I will listen to both.

This all sounds a bit like when the redhead one left Sugababes, back in the day, and then gradually one by one they all kept leaving and getting replaced, but continuing on as Sugababes, even though they weren't really, while the old proper (propa?) original Sugababes got back together under a new name and world did once more rejoice and think it good.

Only this is less interesting and, I'll wager, quite a bit shitter.

My podcast round up from the past year. Alot of Forest!

Sugababes is a better philosophical example than the Ship Of Theseus. Or Trigger's broom.

I'm too stupid to upload photos.

    Mine is

    The rest is history
    The price of football
    Totally football show
    Garibaldi red
    Football weekly

A total of 27 days and 18 hours

So that's why I don't listen to Red Side of the Trent. Dull, predictable, homogenous. Not my thing this week. I've enjoyed other episodes, but, in adversity, that was weak.

The pro is launching a podcast, based around both a football and music guest "most footballers want to be rock stars and most rock stars want to be footballers", hosted by himself. A lunch event (hour talk, half an hour Q&A, short acoustic set from music guest) with several confirmed dates:
    10th Feb (Newcastle)
    3rd March (Liverpool)
    13th April (Wolves)
    27th April (Man City)
    11th May (Chelsea)
Sold in tables of ten, at a less inflated price if booked before xmas. If anyone is interested contact me, and we can look at putting a table together. Or not.

That sounds most excellent. Were I still on that side of the Atlantic I would definitely join in.

I could definitely be tempted, sounds like fun!

Fletch was a bit chippy in the last Forest focus pod. A little dig at Arsher Ali too.

The one yesterday? Can't say I noticed either of those things.

Yes I noted that. Made a comment like "Some people were making stupid comparisons between Morgan and others in the squad".
