    Apologies for the inconvenience.

An upgrade took down the container networking stack, due to a bug upstream. consequently talkback died on the old server. I have had to rebuild on a fresh instance. This is not entirely completed, but I may not bring across all previous services. There's a lot of work, and not everyone uses them.

Would appreciate any requests if there was something that you used. If anyone wants turdle, let me know. Partridge should be go. I will be working on putting the contact form back in for those with log in trouble. Might not be until tomorrow.

To log back in you will find that you need to re-register an authenticator, and go through that process again...I was unable to save those bits.

    Those authentication instructions here.

you should find that your existing account and posts are all intact. Please let me know if there are any problems, or requests for services that are not up. And once again.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

Seems fine. My login session is still active. I've not had to do it again.

That may be because your browser is still authenticated to the site with a valid token. The authenticator settings on turnstile have not been persisted in the move...so you will have to re-register an authenticator...but your username password and email settings will remain.

Visit the turnstile.trentend.uk link and let me know what you see.

Well done for keeping Chic off match thread duties.

I know Russ hates having to talk about us winning football matches in the cup, so really it was a mercy killing.

I did the match thread and we won dickface.

Anyway, I cannot re-register my authenticator for some reason so you will probably have to do the citeh one anyway.

Chicago: Still logged in from old.

Describe what you are doing, and where it fails. I take it you have referred to the instructions? You need to reply to the link emailed to you in the same browser that originated the request (or it wont work - it's to stop man in the middle attacks)

I first got the instructions with the passkley to scan the QR code but couldn't as I was doing this on my phone and I couldn't do it. I have to use the laptop then scan on the phone. Except I cannot get back to that passkey code page as it is now blocking me from using it. I have the same authenticator but I cannot seem to re-register the thing.

It's all very aggravating because I cannot remember how we managed it the first time we went through this.

it asked me to register my mobile but the QR Code did not remain valid when i couldn't capture it on my phone as I was doing it from my phone. So I tried again on my laptop and the Code is now not valid and I have applied for another one and it is shutting me out.

Not sure what to do next to be honest.

You don't have to scan the code, below the QR code there is a key (and a something else there is a secret and an otp code for authenticators that accept those). Clicking on the key exposes a text secret. Paste that secret into your authenticator replacing the previous secret, and you should be up and working.

Not working. It keeps telling me I have failed to register the device and I cannot seem to go back to the code page to re-hit the key code.

Failed to register device. The link has expired or already been used....
