Doesn't make a difference, but Jim's method worked.

Does make a difference.
I'm, away for the weekend now. Partridge is set on ones and zeros, rather than waveform. Hopefully that will be the correct delivery platform for goodness.
Good luck to all who sail in her!
The server that hosts partridge has been upgraded to the next debian (12 bookworm) version which, critically, has changed the way that audio/sound is handled.
I believe it is now working.
If you intend to use it, I recommend that you check before you need it. Not necessarily now, but soon. If there are any problems you want to catch me while I still remember what I've done, and before I go away again (prior to the next match).
It has a buzz in the background. Might be worse if the voices aren't as deep as the guy talking now.
How's that? I've adjusted the level down a bit.
Working perfectly here.
No buzz now!
Hey Man. There's always a buzz on Partridge FM ! All good for me Tricky.
Not sure if there's a wire loose somewhere, but the Partridge broadcast is quite distorted. Sounds like Colin is commentating from a hurricane.
I think there's weather coming in, and that affects the digital reception here. Also if I forget and stand at the other computer it blocks reception. And plusnet is being a bit crap these days.
I just assumed it was annual bath night at Tricky towers.
And plusnet has become progressively, noticeably more and more shit over the last year or so. And they've put their prices up again. The sneaky fuckers.
The Twatter says it's on Sportsnet in Canada?
I can assure you it's not. I'm looking at Sportsnet right now, it's showing Villa/Chelsea.
Ah. Not like the Twatter to be wrong, though...
Is the Partridge alive? I'm getting a 404
file not found.
Many apologies for the absence of partridge yesterday. This was the result of administrator error. I rebooted the server, but overlooked restarting the stream.
