Find it quite weird that people are criticising Maguire for not giving up part of salary due on his contract, to go and play for less money at wet hams.
Why are those people not suggesting that manure sacrifice some of the transfer fee that they want, to honour the contract that they willingly signed?

Maguire presumably wants to play in the euros next year, so ManU are in a stronger position. (Although, with Southgate in charge, maybe not.)

If I was Harry Maguire I'd be thinking that I'm on the best contract I will ever be on, that it will be a miracle (not a good one for the rest of us) if he plays for England again ( and for some reason he seems guaranteed a miracle with southgate in charge - if he plays everyone will see the problems he causes, if he doesn't play, he gets picked anyway).
I'd want the money. The rest will work it's way out.
