Just wanted to say that Wolves really are fucked aren't they? Who is going down with them and Luton?

    Sheffield United

If that's looking likely to happen, I suggest we hire Hooters for a final day party.

FWIW, bookmakers generally have Luton and Sheffield United down, then us, Bournemouth and Burnley, then Wolves, Everton and Fulham.

Feels like they are underestimating us and, maybe, Bournemouth - both of whom improved during the season and are, at least, not likely to be weaker than they finished last season (assuming we get goalkeeper, especially, sorted in the next fortnight).

Our problem is that we have a generational manager who has pulled off remarkable things two season in a row, and there’s still a 50:50 chance he’ll be sacked within ten games. I’ll take any position you’ll give me if it comes with a promise that SSC is manager 12 months from today.

Me too. Including relegation (though I know that in the real world - or the Marinakis version of it) relegation almost certainly means SSC gone long before the end.)

Apparently Moyes and the new sporting director at West Ham aren't getting on - Moyes keeps rejecting the young foreign talent that they want to sign, and the club keeps bidding low on the experienced Premier League players that Moyes wants. As a result they have signed no players yet this summer, and have lost their best one.

Fabrizio says Ndiaye is going to Marseilles. Seems like really bad news for Sheff U.

Ajax came in at the last minute and nicked Carlos Borges from under West Ham's noses, just got the Romano HWG. I quite like West Ham but it's mildly amusing how badly they're fucking this window up.

Especially as the blunts had already filmed a video about him agreeing a new (five year?) contract and even roped in Billy Sharp (who they released) to ceremonially hand over the No 10 shirt.

Arsenal bid for Raya and Brentford have been told he wants the move. That would presumably make the American keeper we're interested in surplus to requirements at Arsenal.

Can't help thinking we are going to end up with Navas again. Which I would be fine with.

    Chicago: Wrestling with feelings.

Sounds like things are coming to a head at West Ham, Moyes really wants Ward-Prowse and the Sporting Director refuses to sign him. I think I'm on team Sporting Director there.

David Moyes is their manager. If they can improve their set piece delivery, they probably should.

Alternatively, they could improve by simply not having David Moyes as their manager.

A friend I recently re-connected with after 8-9 years is Head of Comms at PSG. He is 'friends' with all the stars there. I asked about Navas. He said that Keylor said he'd had a great time at Forest, but it was very unlikely he'd be coming back. More likely to go to a Spanish team.
