Give them a break, they've got a big game against Shamrock Rovers looming.

Sterling to Arsenal is interesting- he clearly improves their squad. Leicester signing Edouard seems like the minimum they needed and probably not close to enough. Broja ended up at Everton but is crocked for a while.
Leicester have let Cannon go without ever really giving him a chance and signed a couple of fairly uninspiring strikers from Palace. They have managed to spend £75m though but did get about £30m for KDH. Their fans (who are never happy anyway) aren’t happy Cooper isn’t giving some highly rated youngsters a chance.
Maybe they bought him so that Calvert-Lewin has someone to talk to?
Birmingham broke the L1 transfer record a little bit yesterday. Previously it was 3M, they just spent 15M buying Jay Stansfield from Fulham.
So if you're in L1 there's no FFP? Perhaps this is Leicester's new plan.
Osimhen to Galatasaray is quite a coup for them.
They are so last Tuesday. Don't they know they these days it's all about team unbuilding, younger cheaper longer contracts, and loading the spreadsheet while milking the consumer market with an inferior product that local rights overpayers still believe to be premium?
TBF it's primarily them being opportunistic over him falling out with Napoli, them failing/refusing to get a deal done with Saudi and Chelsea, and the Turkish window still being open. I suspect he'll be gone in January, or next summer at the latest.
There's a lot of hype about the guy but I barely know who he is tbh.
I've never knowingly seen him play. He can't be that good if he's in turkey.
65 goals in 108 Serie A games seems pretty good (for a stat).. but not Erling Haaland good, yet his wage demands seem to be that of someone you’d be wanting Haaland returns from. If he’s priced himself out of even Chelsea’s appetite for cash-spunking, it suggests the hype is not supported by the running/kicking.
....stats and perceived wisdom are dangerous things.
Here's a nice little example to give you all a stick to beat me with. Mbappe has been, it seems, anointed with the ballon d'or next cab off the rank best player in the world tag. Now, unlike when he was working hard to break through, whenever I've seen him recently* he seems to stand around in areas, waiting for the ball to come so that he can look amazing. Like late era Messi, and a bit how Marcus Rashford (without the amazing) seems to be playing.
I find myself thinking 'git tae fuck ya lazy bastard', and 'Get me Danny Welbeck instead'**.
* He might have been tossing it off to avoid getting injured before his move to real, but that doesn't entirely explain his international summer form.
** on current form.
I saw Osimhen play live for Napoli and in several of their games on telly when they won the league and did well in the CL. Whilst he’s an excellent footballer I think he may be a tough character. Difficult to tell as he’s fallen out with Conte, who is an acknowledged cunt.
Osimhen is very good indeed. He more or less delivered Napoli their first scudetto in yonks a couple of seasons ago then I think he was racially abused by members of the club which pissed him off and he got stroppy because it was quite clear he had had enough with the racist Italians (and there are many of them in the Napoli area) and of course Conte is a fucking prick which doesn't help much either.
Pity we couldn't have pulled that rabbit out of the hat because that would have been pretty special to see other than playing in Turkey with all their mental fans. Turns out there is a break clause in his loan if any of the big European clubs come calling which of course rules us out but imagine the pandemonium if we had pulled that off. Pretty sure Richard Keys would have topped himself.
Anyway as you were...
