I largely agree, but he's got some potential to improve and increase his value while Nketiah is at the top.
30M is stupid numbers obviously. But that seems normal these days.

Also, I see him as a bad risk to build your team round, but a decent one to compete for a place.

With Nketiah you're gambling that consistent game time will enable him to utilise the talent that's definitely there. With Broja you're gambling that he still has the pace and aggression that defined his game before the injury, and that it won't break down again. He didn't look great at Fulham and he's never been prolific anywhere, he's always just been a huge amount of potential that everyone was waiting to break out. It still might, but I wouldn't have the chances high enough that I'd do this deal.

I don't get why you think Nketiah is at the top? He's got 1 England cap and not been a regular starter for Arsenal. If he signs for us, hits 25 goals and gets in the England squad again (which is plausible, as we're not blessed with pacey number 9s in the way we are with other forwards/number 10s) his value will go up considerably. I'm not saying he will do any of that, I don't really know what I think of him, but he's a better bet than Broja on paper.

No, it's shit - there needs to be some kind of connection between the signing and the reference. Also Jackson should sue - there's no way that's fair use.

Unbelievably shit. Works on no level, really. Embarrassing. A touch of a school meeja project about it.

I mean if it was Bellingham or something. Maybe. But who the fuck even is that.

Speaking of Burnley, they seem to think that Worrall is on his way there.

No. That wouldn't make it okay.

I assumed it was that House of Dragon thing I'm always seeing trailers for as I've never seen it or any LOTR, Hobbit, Harry Potter etc etc.

A bit like Russ with his complete absence of knowledge of popular offensive sitcoms off (of) the 70s.

Looks like Guehi to Newcastle is going to happen, which means Palace will have lost both central defenders and their main creator in a single window. Means they are likely to be dumping some serious cash in the next week.

Maybe not. There's a degree of team unbuilding going on in the middle ranks of the 'ship. To rationalise squads at the more young/sustainable end of the spectrum, rather than the most balanced best team possible at the spending level. Largely because breaking into the top end is unachievable for many teams. And relegation remains highly unlikely. Brighton being the model.

Cash in on breakout talents, keep broadly the same turnover.
