Kevin de Bruyne agreed terms with Al-Ittihad. I know City have limitless resources, but I don't think they can keep replacing players of the standard of Gundogan and de Bruyne every year and remain dominant.

He’s 33 and had injuries. I think Man City get it about right when shifting them on.

Perhaps not once Pep has gone anyway.

That's a shame, he was the most watchable player in the league. He facial expression always amuses me, it's like the bloke who's been doing the same job for ever, is light years ahead of everyone around him, knows it, and just wants to get it done.

Maybe so, but the point stands. You can't sell your most important player every season and expect to be able to replace him with as good or better.

I was in Bruges last week and was chatting to a local about football. I mentioned De Bruyne and he told me he was not well liked over there at all. I did not know this.
They know he’s a good player but they don’t like arrogance.

Similar with v. Dijk in Holland, by all accounts

Michael Olise snatched up by Bayern because Citeh could activate the release clause. Wonder if his mate Eze will be too far behind. That will put a wrinkle in the Palarse.

    Chicago: Release Agent.

Millwall signed Macaulay Langstaff from Notts. Going to be hard to replace that many goals.

Having watched him numerous times last season I predict that he won’t be able to make the step up to the championship. Good finisher but quite reactive, often on his heels and doesn’t make good runs. Obviously this can be coached into him but he’s 27 so no spring chicken. He won’t get as many chances playing for Miwaw as he did for county.

Notts have Jatta now. He’ll score.

ManYoo have apparently gone back to Everton with 45M for Branthwaite, which is still below their valuation.
