I was wondering why no one seemed interested in taking Ben Chilwell from Chelsea's bomb squad because he's a solid top flight wing back when he's fit (granted that's been a bit hit and miss of late), but then I learned that he's on 200K a week. Madness.

Neil Maupay absolutely doesn't bother me at all. I don't get it. What is it that threatens you about someone better than you, funnier than you, and less willing to bend over and silently take it like a bitch than you?
Too much hate in the world...can't you let they young man have a bit of a chirp and a laugh without letting it worry you? I can sort of understand the frothing at the mouth non-scoring striker haters, who understand nothing but numbers...but then Danny Wellbeck, Emile Heskey, and countless others make it pretty obvious they are worth taking the piss out of. A shame the entertaining Maupay public service has moved from our league.
It's a bad number....but it would be better if you got circa 40 fit weeks out of him, than one. He could be on a quarter of that and I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

I do think our Wissa bid is us trying to be clever. I suspect we know Brentford are going to have PSR issues without a sale, and they're struggling to shift Toney, so we've offered to 'help out' by taking Wissa. Like they did with Johnson. Cheeky sods.
