Thought that game was an example of VAR working well for once. The penalty decision looked right at first glance but the replay clearly showed that Havertz initiated the contact - exactly the scenario we were talking about earlier. And the offside was tight so checked - not sure why you think you have access to better angles than they do?

We can but hope that Man U keep Maguire and Evans as their centre halves.

Because every decision ever given in Man U's favour is part of a conspiracy to help them, do try and keep up.

(Although they lost 8 and drew 1 away from home against the top 9 last season, so it's not working very well.)

    ...I'm watching barcelona.

It's not something that I expect to repeat very often.

Endless tedious risk free possession football, relying on the superiority of your players over the opposition, to wear them down, isn't really my idea of a good night out.

Stumbled across this. The CEO of Leeds Utd in informed conversation with two smart but quietly seething fans about their relegation and future. A mile away from the forelock-tugging fan interviews with Nicholas Randall.

You don't have to like Leeds to find this interesting and you don't have to know the ins and outs of their last few seasons to draw parallels with what could happen to us.

Virgil Van Dijk gets an extra game and 100K fine for abusing the officials after his sending off. More big club bias by the crooked league.

He makes Fazzer sound quite savvy and reasoned by comparison.

It feels like Wednesday have been a basket case longer than we've been / were.

The wizzard wheezes that players are drumming up to get a holiday from manchester, are coming thick and fast this season.

Ryan Yates is on Premier League: The Big Interview on Sky (but I think it's a Premier League production). What a nice young man.

..... unless you are an opposing midfield player, in which case he's a right 'orrible bastard.

I'm sure Robbie Savage was well-loved by his own fans. Until he opened his fcuking gob anyway.
