I think that means that we need to finish above Everton and leed.... and I think that we can.

Yes but I like Leeds and a good mate is an Everton fan. I want at least one of them to survive with us.

I really like Iwobi but he's such a frustrating player to watch at times.

Draw. The perfect result with both teams totally knackered.

It's a funny old league but Fester and Everton have tough away games coming up and could lose both of them to Fulham and Brighton respectively.

Leeds go to Manc City so hopefully they get an Erling tonking.

If only we had held on to Brentford I feel we would almost be safe. Aaaargh.

    Chicago: Aaaaargh.

Looks to me like Everton has the best combination of fixtures left.
A target of 35 points looks sufficient to stay up.
Southampton is as good as relegated right now, no way they can get 11 points out of their last 4 games.
Leeds look very unlikely to achieve the 5 points required with their remaining fixtures.
3 teams left for 1 relegation spot.
It's going to be a long month.

    Oh no, that's a shame

If results go poorly for them elsewhere, then losing to Brighton and Man City might make it too late to get a lift from playing Bournemouth and Wolves.
I'm still cautiously optimistic from the Brighton result, as well as running Brentford close, I think

We're in a 3-team mini league where we need to collect 1 more point than Leicester and match whatever Everton does to stay up.
    Not easy, but definitely realistic.

Sam Allardyce is 'braced' to take over at leed, we are told.

A football friend, was recently playing with a back/sciatic nerve problem. For pain relief, when the ball was down the other end of the pitch, he adopted a particular stance/posture that relieved pressure on his back. I would describe that as sort of standing half crouched, half foetal position, with clenched fists. At the time I called it 'tantric shitting'.

That's what Sam Allardyce, 'braced' to take over at leed, makes me think of.

There is Premier League football on every night this week, but only one match that's even remotely interesting for us (Man City v West Ham tomorrow). Think I'll watch Barnet v Borehamwood to see who Notts get in this weekend's semi.

Tonight, do we want Arsenal to win to continue Chelsea’s poor form or Chelsea to increase the likelihood of Arsenal being out of the title race when we play them?

Feel the former, as the Chelsea game is closer but I probably fancy us more against a dispirited Arsenal at home than away to out of form Chelsea. (Albeit, I don’t really fancy us in either.)

City have West Ham, Leeds, Everton in their next three matches. Arsenal have Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton in the same period. I will be surprised if there's still only a one point gap between them by the time we face Arsenal, and even if there is, with two games left to play and City having a lead and a game in hand I think Arsenal will already know they're cooked by the time they arrive at the WFCG.

I'll take Arsenal tonight to further demoralise a Chelsea team that already doesn't appear to give much of a shit.
