I always go into every match believing we can win, if I didn't I wouldn't bother. Hell, I even do that with the Jets and they make Forest look like Wenger's Invincibles. Support without hope seems like a pointless exercise imo, if I ever reach that point I'll go find something else to do with my time.

It's more about the day out and seeing family. Away games going to different places. To make it all about the likelihood of a win seems a bad thing unless you're one of the Sky 6 who win most weeks

Depending on today’s result, we’ll have won 3 or 4 home league games in over a year, since the ManU/Elanga game on 1st April 25. Hard to retain much optimism in those circumstances.

Have to say this is the first time in years I went to bed last night thinking can I be arsed to go.
The trains are fucked up already, so I will likely have to stand all the way surrounded by Fulham fans, who will be celebrating on the way back.
The game will be shit, we won't score, we will concede. The players are already on the beach (or at least in big discussions with agents about where they will go in the summer) so no effort from them.
Having considered Russ's post more I'm not sure I can point to any part of the day that will be enjoyable.
