Well obviously all sorts of things could happen. It could cause the Leicester players to become inconsolably depressed and their form get even worse. It could inspire Oxford and West Brom to go on a run and overtake them. But using the only actual data we have that we can trust, which is points earned to date minus points deducted, Leicester are on track to stay up. If you are willing to accept that points earned over 46 games is a fair representation of the relative quality of 24 teams, then you surely should agree that points earned over 30 games is at least a reasonable indicator of the same.
Swindle town are sad, because the fuckers should have been relegated several divisions.
Not massively unsurprising news; Romero really is a complete cunt isn’t he
I think if it had have been anyone except Romero he might have got the benefit of the doubt, it was a follow through from playing the ball that he was in possession of. But it's Cristian Romero so the likelihood is it was fully intentional.
Derby are 1-0 down at home to Ipswich. Their captain scored one of the strangest own goals I've seen. Watched it a number of times and can't understand what the fuck he was trying to do.
Either way, he planted a lovely header past his own goalkeeper from an Ipswich corner.
1-1 now. Stupid penalty.
Exactly. Nobody follows through a kick of the ball with a plant of the foot on the opponent unless they mean to hurt them
Kieran McKenna just did a weird thing. Derby picked up some momentum, got the equalizing goal, and were pushing to take the lead, so McKenna for some reason decided to bring on three substitutes which resulted in Ipswich getting fresh impetus and almost immediately scoring to retake the lead. Is that even allowed?
Wait this is really mental. Now Derby have brought a striker on without taking their current one off, so it's almost like they've changed formation to give themselves more attacking threat. Do they have different rules in the EFL or something?
Rooting for Blackburn doesn't appear to have worked. Hoping for better with West Brom and Burnley shortly.
And now he's got himself sent off. Outstanding day at the office.
Wet Ham take the lead.
And double it.
Unfortunately Burnley are not Chelsea so three point gap.
Burnley 15 shots, Wet Ham 2 shots.
0-2.
