    In one hilarious rumour. Matt Turner to Lyon for 25 million. That would be the funniest thing ever. However, I would not be surprised if this came from the Onion.

    Chicago: Amused.

    That's "FA Cup winner Matt Turner" to you.

    Frustrating that they'll be allowed, probably, to sort this out. What are rules and deadlines for if they're bent every time. Chuck them out.

    Football is bent. Everyone can break the rules apart from us and Everton. (Actually I think Everton pretty much got away with it too), so us.

    The MAD Greek is good at getting mad at Referees and Forest personnel but doesn't seem to have much sway with leagues and bent officials because it seems he doesn't like brown envelopes the cheap cnut. (actually I admire that,,,but I digress). Cloughie would turn in his grave...

    Yeah, we won't get anything out of it. I would shocked if we did.

    Eveything is pretty much a joke nowadays., Guess who started that trend...I will give you a clue...FIFA,.

    Cnuts.

    I think I might be there with Tricky again...(shit),,, this is starting to make me lose my love of football...

    From The Grauniad a couple of hours ago. Nothing particularly new, but definitely making it sound more likely that Palace get booted.

    I have sympathy for their fans but the club knew this could happen. The deadline to sort the ownership was end of April, they beat Villa on 26th. It’s short notice but they could and should have preempted this, like EM did. Seems like they’ll be putting a brave face on getting into the conference at worst.

    Be careful what you wish for.....

    Palace get bumped to Conference taking our Conference place does not mean we get bumped to Europa.

    If I've understood it right, Palace can't take our Conference place because one of their owners has a stake in Brondby. If they're bumped, they're bumped completely.

    Correct. Brighton would pick up the conference place.

    Aha, well I’ve heard that, in the same way Lyon take precedence over Palace in the europa, Palace take precedence over Brondby in the conference.

    According to the Guardian article, the team that finishes highest in their domestic league takes priority. Which is Brondby.

    And even if not, they can't just take our conference league spot. We would have to be bumped up as we haven't earnt our spot because Palace won the FA Cup.

    Quoted message:

    5.02

    If two or more clubs fail to meet the criteria aimed at ensuring the integrity of the competition, only one of them may be admitted to a UEFA club competition, in accordance with the following criteria (applicable in descending order) with the exception of the scenarios set out in Paragraph 5.04 and Paragraph 5.05:

    a. the club which qualifies on sporting merit for the most prestigious UEFA club competition (i.e., in descending order: UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League);
    b. the club which was ranked highest in its domestic championship;
    c. the club whose association is ranked highest in the access list (see Annex A).

    Palace beat Brondby on the first criteria, don't they?
