At this back end of the season refs have definitely let football be a bit more clumpy. Which is on the whole a good thing. Apart from for consistency and sporting integrity.
Evan Ferguson has started one game for West Ham since signing on loan from Brighton at the beginning of February. He was substituted at half-time and has made seven further appearances from the bench - nearly all of them coming on after 80 minutes. No goals.
Shame how his career seems to have stalled. There was a time when he was being tentatively linked with Forest and I was thinking was an incredible coup that would be.
If his value has sufficiently plummeted, he's exactly the sort of player that I'd like to see us go for. Subject to no catastrophic long term physical limitation.
Brighter than Hove still had / have a shot at 8th place and a tenous outside chance a Conference thing place didn't they? Assuming Chelsea win the final and something something? Or is that all dead in the water now City fucked the cup and 8th is nothing?
