As each week goes by the number of points we're going to need seems to get bigger. There was talk of 66 points being enough, but it's looking more like 68+ now. If not more?

Think you have to allow for Villa winning their last four. That puts them on 69 but probably with a worse GD still. You’d hope Chelsea lose their next two (Liverpool home, albeit they’ll have won the league by then, and Newcastle away), which means they come to us on 63. Newcastle can currently get to 74 but you’d hope they’d lose some points at Brighton and Arsenal. (I’m not looking at City because I think they’re almost certain to win the next three league games.)

Which is a long winded way of saying we are looking at winning three out of five (all of which we’re probably favourites in).

We are the right end of the table this year, you have to think the teams around you are going to mostly win and you’ll need to take it, not have it given to you.

Derby two points adrift of safety in the as-it-stands table with only one game to go after today. Luton's 90-minute winner in the early kick-off was a hammer blow for them.

No-one daring to mention that Southampton are half an hour away from ensuring Derby's place in the record books?

Meanwhile Bayern Munich will lift the Bundesliga trophy with a win next weekend at Leipzig.
Kane will miss the game through suspension.

Jamie Vardy has missed the penalty that would have been his 199th leicester goal, if that's any consolation?

Cardiff relegated though. If somehow Wrexham fuck it up as is still possible, two of the three turds will be on their way to being flushed out of the system they don't belong in. Just got to get Swansea heading that direction as well.

It’ll take Leicester to score a goal for Southampton to not go past Derbys record, so still plenty of hope.

Anthony Taylor strikes again as Mateta just muscled Konsa out of the way. NeverMind though because Eze just scored a worldly.

    Palace totally deserve being ahead.

    Chicago: Rooting for the underdog.

Eze should have turned round to him a shouted 'disallow the you clown'. I may not have used the word clown.
