Given the importance of the Burnley Blades match right now, I’m amazed at the lack of atmosphere in the ground and intensity on the pitch.

I had the misfortune of catching a Bayern game in the farmers league recently. Either the last one, or the one before.
Was it that slow?
Kinda. I mean, it's all over really. Despite what Sky would have you believe. Blades fans are resigned to playoffs after losing 3 on the spin.
Brilliant from guru minor. “Why are Burnley having a pitch invasion? They get promoted every other year”
Just wait until the grammar police get hold of you.
Parker Farke would make a good manager for Bleeds, by the way.
Maybe this time we'll get a different answer to "is Scott Parker good enough for the Prem?"
They were pissing of Jack Robinson so all good though. Not quite as regularly but I thought similar of the thousands of Leeds fans who’d gathered outside Elland Road.
Leeds were last promoted in 2020 with no fans in grounds (according to BBC Breakfast) so you could argue they had an excuse for wanting to make the most of this one.
Yeah…. but it’s Leeds. Cuntsalorravem
So tonight. City win to keep Villa at arm's length or a draw to take a point out the mix? Or Villa to guarantee we are in the top 5 when we kick off against Brentford?
City win or a draw, for me.
Realised that Villa win (assuming it's not by 8) or draw guarantees we are top 5 after we've played Brentford
I wouldn’t exactly describe 3 points as “arms length”. It’s become so tight that other results no longer matter. It is also ridiculous that we are even thinking this way.
Burrrrtttt…I feel we need to beat Brentford and Leicester and get something from Palace and/or West Ham. I’d rather this didn’t go to the last day. Although if the consolation is Europa League, then I think I can hide my “disappointment”
Given the goal difference difference, defeat tonight would likely mean they'd need four more points over 4 games (5 for us) to overtake. Forearm's length?
Finger. At best.
Villa’s last 4 games: 12 points to our 6.
After tonight they have Fulham (H), Bournemouth (A), Spurs (H), Man U (A). I’ll be surprised if it’s less than 8. Likely 10. Possibly 12. They have the taste for human flesh after their PSG exploits.
Having thought 65/66 will be enough, it’s looking more like 68/69.
