I’ve decided your use of “cheer for” is a bit irritating. I know you’ll claim it’s an acceptable North Americanism but you are posting on a U.K. message board and are bilingual/possess both passports. So should try harder to blend in.
I refer you back to my previous post in which I was explicitly clear about not giving a shit about anyone's view of whether I'm suitably British. That applies equally to absolutely everyone regardless of their skin colour or political viewpoint.
I'm really enjoying Kevin De Bruyne play at the moment. not because of his sublime vision and skill, but rather because it's fascinating how far a player drops off the pace when his legs go (temporary, or permanent, who knows?).
I know he's coming back from injury, but he really does look like a player that Ferguson would have sold a season ago. It looks like they got that right with Gundogan, but then they undid it all by bringing him back.
