Because he apparently hates the Venkys, as everyone who works for them seems to, and wants out.

Shaggers managed an injury time penalty to get a draw at Norwich and avoid a club record for consecutive defeats.

Aren't they losers every week (irrespective of the match score)?

  • 12 Feb 2025, 12:54 p.m.

Kai Havertz tore his hamstring in training and is done for the season.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 12:58 p.m.

That really helps/hinders/makes no difference to our champions league chances.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 1:01 p.m.

Could easily also be in the “What’s amusing me” thread, but if you have a few minutes to kill, I heartily recommend finding your way to anywhere featuring Arsenal fans reacting to the news that Kai Havertz is out for the rest of the season. Talk about entitled toys being hurled out of entitled prams!

A season where they are highly likely to finish second & are going very well in the Champions’ League is apparently “the season from Hell; other fans have no idea how painful this is!”

They sincerely believe that they only had to ask & Isak would have walked barefoot to North London for c.£50m. “Why would it take more than that?” [I’m not making this up].

Hilarious. But also symptomatic of too many “big six” fans, who really do seem to think that the other 14 clubs are simply there to make up the numbers, take a risk with finding good young players & then be 100% happy to sell them on for any price they arbitrarily heave out of their arses.

I think Arsenal fans are the worst of the bunch. The entitlement is huge. They have turned into ubercunts. They can fuck right off.
Who do I blame? Arteta? North London Forever? Too much Merson/Walcott/Keown etc constantly advocating for strikers to go to Arsenal?

I think a sustained period of relative success will turn any fanbase into insufferable wankers. There are plenty of people who feel that way about us.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 2:01 p.m.

Pretty much every word in those two sentences is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Apart from Leicester and Derby, I’m not sure we are seen as insufferable wankers by anyone. And for those two fanbases, it is not due to the “sustained period of relative success”. They thought that when we were in the third tier.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 2:32 p.m.

It's not very complicated. All fan bases are made up of a broad distribution of ordinary people. Most ordinary people are vile turds. Football is merely a reflection of society.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 2:45 p.m.

I've got Huddersfield Town on the phone. They wanted to let you know that you're an insufferable wanker.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 3:03 p.m.

We must all try harder to be sufferable wankers.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 3:05 p.m.

Maybe I'm not actually the worst fan after all? My insufferable wanker levels are bang in the slot for a modern football fan.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 3:12 p.m.

One glance at NFFC on social media will confirm that we have more than our fair share of total cunts, politically and ethically.

I think the issue at hand is whether our fanbase has turned into whingeing, entitled and insufferable wankers on a footballing front.

    IFW= ((P+C) + £ + (N x £n) + BCQ) x BAS/(T+PS)

    Insufferable football wanker (IFW)
P=position in premier league table, averaged over 3 years
C= last time a major trophy was won (yrs)
N= number of exp players featuring on Sky/TNT/BBC
£= money spent on transfers over 3y
    £n= club transfer record
    BCQ= big club quotient
BAS= bollox artificial songs (score 100 for each North London Forever or similar garbage)
PS= proper songs (score 10 for any of Mull off Kintyre, YNWA, Marching on Together, Blowing Bubbles, Blue Moon)
T= time spent in lower divisions over the last 25y

    FTFY.

  • 12 Feb 2025, 3:25 p.m.

    Are they still whinging ?

Sliding Doors FC really can't take a joke or move oncan they, the yappy hairy small dog botherers.
