Which would be lovely, but he has form for using his outsized wealth and influence to drive the outcomes he wants. In this case that would probably mean the European Super League, something I think most would agree is a terrible idea for the sport.

Sadly, experience tells us that he doesn't actually destroy the companies he takes over. Twitter may not be making money but it served exactly the purpose he intended, which was to give him power over political discourse and by extension political leaders. There's no reason to believe he'd run Liverpool into the ground.

I think that's the only thing he could want, and I'm far from convinced that Liverpool fans, for all their other issues, want any part of that. Tesla is a carbon credit factory more than cars. Xitter is a propaganda tool. Liverpool isn't especially useful outside of football.

    Attention. He wants attention.

Football fans are rather more spiteful than the average audience, so I'm optimistic they'll detest him.
I'd be very unhappy if any part of it worked out for him.

I don't know how he'd cope with not being the richest.

Bournemouth have lost both their main strikers to long term injuries in the last couple of days - Evanilson has broken a bone in his foot and Unal has done his ACL.

Firstly shows how quickly injuries can fuck you up - imagine if we'd had similar happen to Wood and Awoniyi. But also improves our chances of taking the 6th place that I think is our mostly likely and best likely final position.

Dismiss him that easily and he wins. Happens all the time. "I know he's about the richest man in the World but.......he's a joke,.....Daddys Emerald mine........He invented nothing etc etc"

He's exercising power to do what he wants and he's quite brilliant at it. My guess is X was bought to excercise control as a media mogul. That helped him install a president who will now deliver key strategic contracts. Space stuff. He'll get most of the contracts for lifting shit to space and from there some form of platform, the next generation of space station if you will. He then gets access the resources of the solar system and becomes King of Mars.
Yes I read 2000AD, so did Elon.

Watching Villa v West Ham. Three times in the last five minutes, Paqueta has thrown himself to the ground holding his face because Konsa's arm went near his chest. Ref missed the first (and Villa scored), but has given free-kicks both other times. It's the type of behaviour you'd want the FA to get involved in and hand Paqueta a ban.

Kick off at Tamworth v Spuds delayed because of an issue with one of the goal nets. One Tamworth player just gave a team mate a piggy back to reattach the net to the crossbar.
    The romance of the cup.

I imagine a lot of bin dippers live around there. Saves them having to be near Leicester and easy to get to the training ground.

Big white trainers. Didn't look very expensive but I'm no expert.
