Unless he shoved him into a chipper, it's not enough.
Unless he shoved him into a chipper, it's not enough.
There's still time.
Meanwhile the Chelsea score means we've slumped to a pisspoor 7th.
Someone out.
Nice gap opening up between the big 7 and the also-rans.
Manure, utter manure. Again. This almost unilateral league team unbuilding doesn't make the English leagues less bent. Just shitter.
I think Anthony Taylor is at it again. Pretty sure Arsenal have a right to be a tad miffed at some of his decisions.
Bald cnut. Anyway, keeps them just above us and in reach. Fucking hate the scousers though.
Chicago: still enjoying the weekend.
Some card to t'beeb comments on the West Ham v Man Yoo game:
Well In thought it was funny.
He did big numbers for them. You can't replace such a significant contributor with a single replacement. I thought VAR and a variety of individuals, shared the decisions around for them last season. They're getting the numbers, just in a different way.
It's a squad game these days.
There's still a VARgin of error.
I've concluded the best thing about VAR is it's ability to identify a cunt. Anyone who claims taking 5 minutes to decide whether a fraction of a player is on or offside (Arsenal second goal yesterday great example) is a good thing should be locked away.
Forget which game it was on Saturday, but I watched on in horror as they went through the rigmarole of drawing the line. The trouble was on the frame that they did the ball obviously hadn't left the kicking players foot. It didn't affect that one (oh, it was the Calvert Lewin offside), but it does show how bad their process is. The next day, with lines drawn on pictures without the kicker even in shot, I had zero confidence in them.
They are willfully misunderstanding what the technology can do. Willfully or intentionally misleading.
Think it also helps identify those cunts, like me, who bang on about it all the time.
To be honest, I've given up on the professional game.
Interesting to hear the comment on the decision of Michael Oliver that got The Hag sacked (lol). The discussion broadly takes the form: Michael Oliver is our best referee: Michael Oliver got involved in a decision that he never should have done, and over-ruled an onfield decision to give a penalty "that should never be a penalty".
I know. I've been telling everyone, all refs are shit, and they must be if the 'best one' has no idea what he's looking at.
Flicked on the last 20 minutes of Blackpool v Wigan. Dale Taylor is up front for the visitors and, having not touched the ball since I started watching, has just headed over from close range.
Blackpool scramble a last-minute equaliser thanks to a cheeky effort from Owen Goal.
My god, I'd forgotten just how shit the football is in the Championship.
I think Blackpool and Wigan will be delighted that you think they are playing championship football.
I was listening to a podcast the other day and someone was saying about how Forest had spent 23 years in the Championship. If only.
