This time last year Tricky said Wolves may never score again. He was talking arse.
That Bournemouth decision is baffling. It came off the Newcastle defenders shoulder didn’t it?
But it’s the Muff so fuck ‘em!
Pity Bristol City kept jacking up the price for Semedyo when we wanted him. He looks like a player. Getting better. See also Morgan Rogers when he was at Middlesbrough….
Ah hindsight….
Chicago: Soothsayer.
Liverpool Brentford sounds completely flat.
The Bournemouth disallowed goal was from Dango Outtara though, which is a simply magnificent name and has me wanting to sing DISCO and Hands Up.
But more importantly, fuck Bournemouth.
Derby have just gone out of the league cup on penalties at Barrow in front of 3,000 people.
Derby knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Barrow.
So good, it's worth mentioning twice.
Catching up with this thread I'm now linking / turning Mangetout's DISCO post into D.E.R.B.Y.
Singing D - Disastrous
Singing E - Exiting (the cup)
Singing R - Rubbish
Singing B - BARROW!
Singing Y - Why? Why?
I won't be doing County. For a start it's 6 letters.
I don't generally peruse Twitter timelines, but made an exception tonight, and for anyone so inclined, the #dcfc timeline right now is predictably funny.
Curse you SWT <shakes fist>
We have the same avatar. I just read your post thinking 'I didn't post THAT, surely' - and I haven't even had any booze tonight.
I have changed my avatar to 1 of our cats (Gary).
My only knowledge of Barrow came from the old Chewits advert, which makes me feel very Sean for making that reference.
There was a load of anti-Warne stuff last season when he was leading them to promotion. Many of them don't like the style of football and he's constantly accused of 'having no tactics', etc. It's very Forest, to be fair.
That said, I have no idea what the expectations are. To me, from where they've come from, the only thing that matters this season is finding some way (however ugly) to stay up. Looks like a number of their lot have got eyes set on a much grander prize, which is likely going to end in tears. Hopefully.
Skip to the penalties as the rest is dreadful. Rarely seen an away end less interested in a shoot-out - it's like they knew exactly what was coming.
Spent most of my time watching that thinking Derby were in the white.
