I enjoyed the stat @JRs_Cigarette mentioned to me and I've since seen on Twitter - Burnley have been in the relegation zone since the 4th minute of PL opening night and never left.

Seems like Ross Barkley is going to Villa. Maybe I'm going senile, but I thought he'd already been there and been bad.

Wouldn't be building a team around him, and you want someone to give squad depth for those Euro demands. Seems affordable and pragmatic?

I thought their midfield was running on fumes by the end and they have limited options off the bench.

Champions League is definitely a pull. At Luton though he was one of the few classy players in a shit side. Not so at Villa.

Blimey Paqueta charged with getting booked on purpose four times. That's going to be a long ban if he's found guilty.

He’ll be fine you need to get 5 yellows over 19 games for a 1 match ban…

Newcastle have just fielded a bunch of kids in a friendly against an A-League All-Stars side in Melbourne and lost 8-0. Have our pre-season plans been announced yet?

I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this, but the A-League is absolute dogshit. And as it’s the grand final this weekend, that team wouldn’t even have included anyone from two of the best sides (who are the Melbourne Dogfuckers and Something Misc Something).

Those kids that Newcastle picked.. were they their U21’s, or a bunch of raffle winners from a primary school in Gateshead? The result is quite embarrassing unless it was the latter.

Paulsen, the Phoenix keeper, is pretty decent, and entertainingly mental, although nowhere near Champo standard.
Wootton is ordinary even at this level.

There you go, I had no idea. My knowledge stopped at Joe Lolley being at Sydney, and Carl Jenkinson playing for my Jets team.

Excuse me mate, I won't hear a bad word being said about the goal machine that is Newcastle's own Apostolos Stamatelopoulos thank you very much.

You don't follow Melbourne City, do you?

Adelaide United's Zach Clough is sad.

Wolves had the sense to not announce their new ST prices until after the season ended. But these seem outrageous:

Their cheapest covered seat is 30% more than I'm paying in the upper TE.
